Vifa International was founded with the goal of bringing real movie theatre sound to integrated home cinema systems. As audio enthusiasts ourselves, our pursuit of this objective can only be described as obsessive. Decades of experience, years of development, endless hours of testing and the occasional tantrum have gone into producing a range of home cinema systems as uncompromising as the people they’re aimed at.
We freely admit our approach to the subject is highly ideological. We believe good sound equates to reproducing a live recording with all its nuances (and imperfections) as accurately as possible. This is the principle upon which all our systems are based.
Vifa? Is that something to do with football?
So why haven’t I heard of you before, we hear you cynically ask. Well, if you’ve ever built your own speakers or worked for one of the leading speaker manufacturers, then you almost certainly have.
Vifa is among the world’s largest producers of premium speaker components – tweeters and woofers – and we supply much of the internal workings for well over a hundred of the finest speaker brands. Our reputation for audio expertise resonates throughout the world of high fidelity.
Pure, natural sound
Our knowledge of sound reproduction and acoustics is discernible in the care and attention put into our products. Developed to deliver a genuine, untainted reproduction of what was recorded, Vifa home theatre systems combine power and clarity with a full dynamic range. The result is a sound so pure and addictive, we’d bottle and sell it if we could.
Just a couple more things
At Vifa we decided delivering exquisite sound quality wasn’t enough. Our system exteriors had to match their performance. As a result our speakers are beautifully crafted of solid wood and finished with genuine piano lacquer, while our components exude quality, solidity and design detail.
Looks and substance – what more can you ask for? Well there is one thing. Call us aging hippies, call us naïve or simply call us mad, but we believe home entertainment shouldn’t be the exclusive right of the super rich. We all appreciate great music, films and games, so in an impassioned bid to democratise high-end home entertainment, we’ve also made our systems insanely affordable.
